Re: supersports

Hi Richard, All well thanks and trust you and the family are also. It's my mistake (or rather Cheffins, as I took my numbers from an Auction Catalogue on Colin's book shelf). AWP is Chassis Number 5569, Engine Number CT17088 and that I've taken from an article of many years ago that I wrote on Brian...

Re: supersports

That is as I cannot see Chassis Number 5560, Engine Number CT17008, Registration Number AWP 77B, which I know for a fact is a genuine Plus 4 Supersports, as it was purchase from New by Brian Jenkins who then co...

Re: Series 1 - Standard Special

Tony, I Just looked in 'The Morgan Four Wheeler Workshop Manual' +4, 4/4 Series 1 & 4/4 Series II , that was compiled and written by John Dowdeswell and unfortunately there is nothing listed torque setting wise for your engine! Then I looked in The Autobooks Morgan Four Owners Workshop Manual Au...

Re: Hardtop Moss Box +8

Hi Mark, No I still haven't sold the Dellow Morgan Plus Four yet. Unfortunately we were messed around by someone from another country for a month and the day after 'Sale Agreeing' it he pulled out, once bank details had been forwarded to him! Therefore it is still available and has got to go as is t...

1960 Morgan 4/4 SOLD

Barn Find Abandoned Restoration Project Being a lifelong Morgan enthusiast, I purchased this car a couple of months ago on a whim after it appeared for sale locally. Sadly lack of time, space and other ongoing projects, means that I probably won’t get round to doing it in the foreseeable future. The...

I spoke to Brian Jenkins last night and as far as he's aware 1966 was the first year there was a Morgan race at the BDC.

As for the results, programme etc... he's going to have a dig around in his archive and if he finds them, i'll let everyone know in due course.

I'll have to confirm it with Brian Jenkins next time i speak to him, but from a quick search through our records on him and 'AWP 77B', i think that 1966 might have been the first year there was a Morgan race at the BDC. It stands out in my mind as Brian Said he was parked next to Peter Morgan in the...
