Re: Racing News!

I have applied Peter, via MSV, and now await to see if I am amongst the Chosen Ones, the number strictly limited. I suspect I am not famous enough to warrant inclusion. How big is the boot of the Pretty Red Car?

I do remember the Iron Age ... or was it the Ironing Age?

Quentin English

Many may know that Quentin English died recently after a short illness, and I am preparing a Commemoration piece for publication. I never met Quentin myself but know that many on here knew him well, so if anyone would care to send their personal thoughts, anecdotes, or memories that may be used in t...

Re: Brakehorsepower forum

Surely the request for information about the Willhire is an ideal opportunity for an interesting and informative discussion for the anoraks to display their expertise?

Willhire 24 1982

I am planning to write an article for publication on the 1982 Willhire 24 Hour Race held at Snetterton, and won by a Morgan. To this end I would be happy to receive any information, memories, anecdotes etc., on the race, and any relevant Morgan tales from the other editions of the Willhire. Pictures...

Re: 1951 Silverstone relay race

The year is certainly not 1951, it is 1952, when you look at the names on the pits you can see Aston-Butterworth, Cooper-Alta. these were not around in 51, but were in 52 when Formula 1 became Formula 2.the names would have been left over from the Grand Prix. I was there!

Re: Brakehorsepower forum

I would certainly miss being able to post puerile nonsense somewhere, and this seems as good a place as any to do that. I also find it useful for snippets of information such as mentioned earlier the BDC meeting. I don't even mind the occasional insult from Jack. It can also provide a place to...

Re: Circuit up-date

I was hoping one of he plutocrats among the Challenge fraternity might want a 'Personal Photographer' along side their 'Personal Trainer', 'Driver Coach', and Physio.

Circuit up-date

As you might be aware, MotorSport Vision circuits (Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Donington Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton) are in the process of reopening on a gradual basis in line with the government’s phased strategy, and trackdays and testing are now taking place. Please be advised that under th...

Mike Bell

I am sure many here will be saddened to hear that Mike Bell has died recently. Mike had been suffering from cancer, which was not diagnosed until a late stage. A tribute site has been set up on the Ten/Tenths motor sport forum (Tributes) where there are many messages from a multitude of friends and ...

Re: 1985 Morgan Challenge

Diligence brings it's own reward, I have tracked down all of the results from 1985, and can produce a history of the 1985 season, however, I want it to be more than a list of events. I would therefore truly appreciate as many personal anecdotes, memories, stories, etc to make it come alive. No matte...
