Re: Black Sheep in America

Andy, Bob.
I did thing about doing the Daytona 24hr and Sebring 12hr, but sensibly thought, (when have I done sensible - don't answer that) that might all be a stretch to far in our rooky year.
But what if - why not !!! form an orderly queue.

Re: Challenge Anniversary

Bob Some interesting thoughts. I am no longer part of the challenge organising team, so simply flagged it, to get it into peoples minds, and to be early entries into diary's for they seem to get somewhat crowded these days. Then of course car preparation needs to be a) thought about and b) booked in...

Re: Challenge Anniversary

"Do we have the Anniversary a year early" not according to Rick Bourne, Andy Downes and Jack Bellinger and they should know. The earlier its known the better - which is why I flagged it with both Phillip and Chris, not trying to steal anyone's efforts. But a little event that I have on the...

Challenge Anniversary

With the first ever Challenge races taking place in 1985 - 2024 marks the 40th Anniversary, so start dusting off all those race cars off. Lets get 40 racing Morgan on a grid - what circuit can accommodate that?
That's my two pennies worth as a starter.

Re: RIP Dallas Smith

That is sad for he was a true gent, always with a quiet word if he saw something to concern him or it could be done slightly better. I learnt a lot from Dallas's kind words when I first started as did many. Sincere condolences, indeed, to his family and many friends across the sport, he will be huge...

I have passed it across to the young brains in the family who might make sense of it all and ensure we tick the right boxes

Re: Bob Northover

Joe, Bob's son has sent me details of the funeral enclosing the general invite saying So please feel free to forward onto those asking. Everyone is welcome but they just need to be aware there is limited seating in the church. Lots of space for the wake afterwards. Mum asking if people could bring t...

Bob Northover

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that our dear friend Bob Northover sadly passed away, peacefully, at the weekend, after a lengthy brave battle with cancer. Bob as many of you will know went under the alias of the Rev I R Drotcart, the driving force behind the “Alternative Plus 4 Cha...
