Bob (or the Rev I R Drotcart) rolled "Poppy" at a sprint at Colerne (not far from Castle Combe I recall) - hit a haybale which collapsed and turned into a ramp which launched him into the air - very dramatic I recall. Mr Sumner is also a member of the "roll-em" club - Silverstone...

The Morgans for Fun pit crews should be congratulated as well as the drivers (who were brilliant) - as everyone on the pit wall got very wet and cold. As far as Grub is concerned we got through over 4 kilos of Bacon!!! Kate OG's grill was working overtime!! But as the name suggests - we did have fun...

According to Alderson's book (p359), the 6 hr team was Ray Meredith in XOV555 (Red), Bob Duggan in OYO974 (green), Tom Smith in a black coupe and Lionel Mayman in VON777 ( white) - so the conclusion is.....

It WAS freezing - but Morgan drivers know how to dress appropriately - so no problem spectating for the best part of 9 hours. Was only there on Sat - which was incident free!! - except we got stuck on the way home as someone managed to put their car in the trees on Kennel Hill on the way up to Goodw...
