Re: Mad Cyclist
Bob, sorry you won't be joining him. John's musette is all packed and ready. Of course his objective would be to win one of the jerseys on offer. (All the normal ones available except that the polka dot appears to be a red one). And he has signed up for the fastest group so he will be with the prope...

Mad Cyclist
Just to report that John Emberson has not given up on his friends in the Challenge Series. He hopes that his car will be back on track for the Bentley Drivers meeting. In the meantime, to keep his mind on sporting challenges, he is setting out this Thursday (20th) for a three day 500km cycle from Lo...

Re: 2013 Spa
Andy, sorry to have missed you. We seemed to be very busy all weekend. Sadly John's SLR was given a bash which required a hasty bit of body pulling out and a new wheel but the car ran fantastically until the engine suddenly went at 2 and half hours. Still being investigated but probably a broken cra...

Funny you should say that Mary, as John used to play the euphonium! Unfortunately he didn't own a Morgan then.

Re: Morgan +4 Post Xmas Drinks 7th January 2012
Dear John, Hope it isn't too late but John and I would like to join all of you on the 7th if that would be OK. We weren't sure if we could make it but now that John has also realised that he can cycle over to the Leathern Bottle and get a lift back with me then it looks a definite possibility. Good ...

Re: TT Rep 'CAB 652'
Dear John, I told John you had posted these photos and he asked me to thank you. I don't think he has seen them yet because he tells me he hasn't had time to look in on Brakehorsepower for weeks because of pressure of work. (Hence my replying to you in my new capacity as his "person who passes ...

No wonder I could never find any!!!! Good thing too if they are only POA. John occasionally likes to shred his wheels so he can continue to dream....

Re: A New Year - A New Beginning.
A Happy New Year to all! Unfortunately I didn't receive any erudite books on motor mechanics but have no unwanted gifts this year. John was inspired in finding things I really wanted. John on the other hand hasn't quite got the hang of the Parabolic Rollers he was given so may want to swap them in b...

Re: Greeting from the Silent Monks
Frantic in the run up to Christmas, my Audi been in the garage for 'servicing' since last Thursday (what will that cost!), John currently on a train but his destination station has been closed for 'Health and Safety" reasons, one son has been in bed for the best part of a week and although had ...

Re: 2010 Birkett Relay Race
Many congratulations to Andy and the Gentlemen Drivers and to Morgans for Fun for giving them some competition! Guten Morgans were simply happy to finish. Our list of woes over the weekend included 2 broken and unfixable gear boxes (one resulting in poor Andrew P being deprived a drive at all), 1 sn...

Notable Relatives
I saw someone on the television last night called Terry Bull. Bob is this one of your relatives or has he been ostracised from your branch of the family due to a dubious reputation?

Re: RU at Le Mans Classic 2010
The team was fantastic, especially James who is not only a great mechanic but a master of the pit board. Team manager thinks she could have done better though. Timing of the pit stops were a bit conservative with a lee way of between 8 and 6 seconds for each of the 3 stops. If we had had one of Rich...
