Hi James The Morganville registry holds details of many cars here http://www.morganville.org/ If you launch the register and pick a filter 'year =1938' a list will show all the cars registered on the site for that year. Your car is there but the chassis number isn't shown, it might be worth an email...

It's also in Ken Hill's book 'The four wheeled Morgan Vol 2' . Description at page 34 and photos at page 37. At that time (pub 1980) the car was said to be in a yard in Surrey still owned by the person that John Edwards had sold it to. Thanks for posting the ad, it's interesting because the Biddulph...

I'm certainly not an expert, in fact the first time that I saw the Triumph car was at Assen, but I'd been led to believe that the Triumph car was built first and the Morgans next (as the Morgan option offered an even lighter chassis). Good to have seen 3 of the 4 at Assen, but won't be there to see ...
