Re: Bonnets and Cowl

Hi Mark Many thanks....well I did take soundings because I had some doubts, and on balance shared your view. I am now taking further soundings including from the source I bought the car from. Notwithstanding all that, both the bonnets and cowl are in good nick, and would make excellent Christmas sto...

Not much price matching here, whereas breakfast cornflakes are all pretty much the same price!

I'm puzzled as well!

Re: Morgan +4 Super Sports and +4+

Just to update

Lot 141 at Bonhams auction, the +4 SS from the Bill Fink collection seems to have been sold at a shade under £100,000.

Good value when you see what some other cars make these days!

Re: Serie I register

Dear Brother Well yes, just trying to find somewhere a little peaceful and quiet to read a certain book recently acquired from Melvyn! Also doing essential research into location of any basket cases down here, but it's a little bit warm (30C) for anything too strenuous. Best wishes to all at the lun...

Re: New chassis

PS sorry, forgot to answer your questions

Only requirement was for me to produce/send a copy of registration.certificate indicating chassis number.....best then to have that stamped on new chassis.

Cost a couple or more years ago was below £1000.

Good luck

Re: New chassis

Have bought new chassis in the past, one from Morgan and one from GEE. Both good, and not too expensive!

Make sure you get right chassis for the car though....there are differences!

Happy New Year

Re: Brighton Speed Trials

I think this is a win all round The council will receive income by way of landlords rent, the ratepayers of Brighton will not be sponsoring or subsidizing the event, the safety issues are directed away from the council, and now subject to the Safety Advisory Groups deliberations, the motor club has ...

Re: Brighton Speed Trials

Final update... The Council report to the Economic and Culture sub committee is now out.....google up Brighton and Hove agenda item. A lot of weight is being placed on the Safety Advisory Groups views.....and I suppose that is right...there is scope for a deferral pending further consideration.. Int...

Re: Brighton Speed Trials

Mary...I agree..from researching further, I think a lot of emphasis is being put on the fatality, and there will be consideration of the Coroners findings no doubt...I'm not sure if the Coroners Report is out yet. Would there be signifant costs in making the event safe.,especially for the public may...

Re: Brighton Speed Trials

Hi all The report to the Borough Council should be made available to the public under Access to Information legislation. I shall be trying to get a copy . It should then be possible to see the reasoning and the detailed recommendation behind the move to cease the Speed Trials. It should then be poss...
