Re: 100 Years

[quote="Bob Bull"]Who is the most successful Morgan driver of all time? That is distinctly arguable!! Who was the first pre and post war winner in a Mog? Which war and how many wheels? HFS Morgan, Exeter Trial 1910, 1936; Jim Goodall, Sunbac Evening Trial, September 1946 (I had help with t...

Re: Miscellany

Sorry Jim, I also thought it was you - that's why I put the one of your dad in the article. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll feature soon!

Re: trailers

Richard, There's lots of different varieties of both makes - buying second hand you have to take what you can get, and they're not as common (or cheap) as you'd think. Consider very carefully what you want to do with it (towing long distances/which cars/carrying things other than cars, mine has anno...

Sent mine off yesterday, entered both races. A bit confused about the reference to modified/standard Morgans in race 4 (Morgan Challenge race) - doesn't it run to normal Challenge regs?

I'm entering this one, looking forward to it especially the International circuit. Spoke to MGCC last week (re Miscellany), it sounds like a really big event :o

I'm fairly sure that the seats are made by Morgans, so there isn't a cheap source of replacements. If you don't mind going to the hassle of working out mountings and cutting the corner around the gearbox, I'd second Chris' suggestion - it's a better solution for driving. As he says only a few are na...

what about a 4 cylinder race at the MSCC organised race meeting at Mallory Park?
The idea was tried last year. Sadly there were only three entries so it was combined with another race - but I think it could happen if more people entered.

To think that I was getting trenchfoot in Anglesey when I could have been there... at 2pm on Saturday I was really regretting not being at Silverstone. Sounds like it was a great race! Are there any results on the internet (doesn't seem to have been timed by MST)? How did everyone else get on? (but ...

Excellent idea chaps, should prove very useful.

Re Zandvoort, I think the person to contact is Machiel Kalf. machielkalf@hetnet.nl He is organising a special race, but it's only for TR Plus 4s, at least that's what he told me :(

Sadly I can't be there as it's the same weekend as my next Fiesta meeting (a double header at Anglesey, so I can't exactly nip back after), but that sounds like a good group of cars! Good luck everyone, do we have enough for a 4 cylinder team in the Birkett again now?

I got mine done last time at Merlin Motorsport, I took it along and they did it on the spot. I think it was about £35.
