If you're keeping the car for road use and the speed championship you could look at the Cobra roadster 7 - made for the 7 series of cars - and I've used one in my 4/4 for some years. Not for circuit racing though.

As an interested party I think it should be noted that the 2006 regs do put modified 4 cylinder cars with a capacity over 1950 ccs in Class 8
