Re: Croft Retro and Classic Weekend

The provisional entry list indicates that Kevin Kinlochan will be there in his Plus 8 in the 70's Roadsports Races. I will be accompanying him, not at the same pace however, in a Porsche 924. posting.php?mode=reply&f=3&t=3110#

Re: Picture

No insults from me Bob. Yes, I do look through them everytime you post them and do download infrequently. Looking at the places that you must stand to get the shots, it's no wonder that you always look so fit, you must cover a lot of ground on a race day.
Please keep it up.

Re: Classs Winner

Makes perfect sense to me. It's what we do in the Speed Championship. Why win 2 awards when the main award is the Overall Champion?

+8 or Roadster Wheels

I am having a garage clearout and have 10 wheels - 15" x 6.5" to suit either an 80's onward +8 or a Roadster. I will sell them ideally, as 2 sets of 5 wheels each. I can email photos of each wheel if necessary. I also have a brand new Peter Mulberry Oil Cooler Guard, still in its box. Sens...

Re: silverstone celebs

I was passengering my celebrity on the familiarisation session on the Stowe circuit when the car failed to make a left turn at the end of the main straight and sustained a heavy impact with the tyre wall and armco. It was testament to the strength of the car that both driver and myself walked away f...

Mike
and I keep trashing the calibration by over-stressing it
Trying to think which tracks you have been to where you can exceed 110 mph because I'm sure you are too law abiding to exceed the national speed limit. Hmmm!

Re: Changes to FIA Appendix K reg's as from Jan 1st 2012

Does this development also affect the Assen event in July and the possibility of Morgans being permitted to compete without full FIA approved rollbars?

Re: Itchy feet

Excellent idea John

I'm in as well and dependent upon when it is, I might be able to rustle up another 1 or 2 budding drivers who are always keen to get behind the wheel.

Thanks

Worked for me Tim, well done. A good view of Andy Thompson's spin at Riches as well. Bet that made you open your eyes.

Re: Citroen 2CV for Sale

why is a Morris Minor cooler than a 2CV?
I think it's something to do with it being a British built classic, I have the same retro-craving from my youngest who wants a Morris Minor van so that he can carry his bikes in the back.

At least it's better than a Vauxhall Corsa with blacked out windows.

Re: MSCC AUTOSOLO July 31st

Thanks Richard, had the call last night from Tony Oliver. Looks like its 1b tyres then although if it rains, I will be wishing I was on your tyres.

Jonathan has already said he would prefer the 1a tyres "so I can slide it around more"

Must bring in the Dad's tyres rule soon.

Re: MSCC AUTOSOLO July 31st

Well, the regs have been changed, or at least sent out for approval. 1b tyres now allowed, I hope they will be penalised like they are in the sprint series Smithy Do you know something that I don't. At present, the regs on the Oxmog website state strictly List 1a tyres. As I will be racing at Thrux...
