Re: TOK and XRX1
Post Brexit I have ordered books a number of times, even a Le Mans polo shirt, from the EU and never been asked for tax payments... am I lucky or are EU to UK not charged only the other way round?

HSCC Croft - tickets?
Any chance that anyone has one or (even better) two tickets to spare for HSCC Croft on 2/3 September?
In return I can supply action shots of your car in action! Not up to Bob's standard obviously!
There are normally Morgan racers at HSCC events so keeping fingers crossed...

Re: I'm Sure I Know That Face.
Yes, a truly tragic event Bob. Have you Chris Nixon's fabulous "Mon Ami Mate" tome? That devotes many insightful pages to the event and its aftermarth. Worth tracking down a copy if you don't have one already, especially as you were a Hawthorn fan... The journalist was lucky he found you. ...

Re: Tony Brooks
Can remember seeing Mike Wilds have a nasty crash in a Ferrari 312T3 at Goodwood FoS a few years back - took both car and driver quit a long time to recover if I recall. But I understand he will be one of the guests making an appearance at the Shelsley Classic Nostalgia event as part of the big BRM ...

Well done that man. =D> Assuming you mean Alan rather than Jack? To confirm, I believe the survivors are: 1960s: the two Jackies, Stewart and Ickx. 1970s: Emmo, Mario, Alan Jones, Jody, Jacques Laffite, Wattie, Jabouille and Herman the German (Jochen Mass) Hopefully see you at the BDC Simon P...

Tony Brooks
One for Bob to mull over... With the sad passing of Tony Brooks, there are now no living GP winners from the 1950s. By my reckoning there are now only two living GP winning drivers from the 1960s… and just eight survive from the 1970s. Can you name them? :?: No prizes other than smugne...

Healey v SLR
See https://www.mastershistoricracing.com/driver-stories/driver-stories/5050/ for an interesting interview with David Smithies and Chris Clarkson on the Masters Historic Racing website. Key quote is when David is asked who is the rival that you fear or respect the most? Answer: “In the Healey, we al...

Autosport Driver Rankings 2021
If you scroll down the rankings published in this week's Autosport, you will find Will Plant at number 79 with 7 overall wins in his +8. Not far behind is Olly Bryant at number 94 with 5 overall wins and 2 class wins (not all in a Morgan). Not often that a Morgan driver appears in the Top 100 so man...
