Re: Original +8 LWT?

Hi all Yes, I found some more information on page 125 of the aforementioned book that shows that the lightweights were produced between October 1975 (chassis R7983) and January 1977 (chassis R8186) and had 4 speed boxes. In October 1976 the factory produced the first 5 speed car for the motorshow - ...

Re: Goodwood Members Meeting This Weekend

Hi Paul The Alfa in the Whitmore cup sounds interesting. Here in NZ we had our own historic festival last weekend. I was in the ex Andy Garlick Morgan in the pre 60s sportscar race and Jane was in her Standard 10 in the saloon race. http://www.steveritchiephotography.co.nz/roycroft-trophy-2016/ Chee...

Goodwood Members Meeting This Weekend

Hi all,

Are any of the Brakehorsepower crowd attending the 74MM at Goodwood this weekend?

I see from the entry list that Tony Lees is racing in the Viper and James (Billy) Bellinger is in Keith's T61.

Hope to see some of you there !

Hi Mike

I have a full set of steel wings from a 1973 narrow 4/4. Would they suit?

Racing in the Antipodes

Hi all, As summer draws to a close down under, we have just completed our last event of the season :( Whilst many of you were enjoying the 73rd Goodwood Members Meeting, MOG 615 (Andy Garlicks old car) and Jane's latest acquisition (1956 Standard 10 Saloon car) were competing in New Zealand's larges...

Hi Mary,

I reckon Bob is trying to work out how to fit it to his pushbike.
It took him ages to workout how to fit the tennis racquet carrier that I sold him !

Re: New chassis

Hi Jochem, I too have had a new chassis from Terry at GEE. With proof of the old chassis number, he is able to stamp the new chassis in the correct locations as well as add additional strengthening as required. I would also suggest that you send in your crosshead and have Terry check it out for stra...

Re: Where are they Now?

Hi all, I just picked up a stack of early 1960’s Autosport Magazines at a car boot sale – for the princely sum of $2…..  :) Amongst the almost weekly mentions of the exploits of Pip Arnold, Richard SB, Chris Lawrence, adverts for Basil Roy Motors Ltd etc, there are a few other gems that stand out. ...
