I suspected as much Bob and Mary…

Would be a terrible shame to lose should a wonderful archive Bob.

How could we future proof it?

Re: Morgan Memories.

Hi Bob,

Hope you are keeping well...

Did you or one of your chums take any of me or Jonny in the rain in the Flat Rad at BDC Silverstone a couple of weeks ago by any chance...?!

Cheers,

Mark

PS. I have read the two old copies of Motor Sport! Thank you very much.

Re: 1954 MORGAN 4/4 "INTERIM COWL" EX-PAT Kennett

I watched the Plus 4 (not 4/4 as erroneously stated) on the live feed... They started the bidding at £28,000. There was a bid at £29,000 and then another bid at £30,000. No one was prepared to go higher than 30K as the auctioneer looked for 31 but didn't get it. The lot was therefore passed as nowhe...

Re: I'm Sure I Know That Face.

Really interesting article Bob.

You have spoken to me about it before and with me having just finished reading the biography of Lance Macklin doubly interesting.

Re: Web site updates

Hi John, Good to hear from you and hope all are well... I am pleased to hear you have ordered it as it is a very enjoyable read - what those boys got up to in those days...! And yes the author is a New Zealander and credits his dad for getting him in to writing the book on Lance Macklin. I will try ...

Re: Web site updates

Hi Bob, Hope you are keeping well - good to see you at VSCC Silvestone a few weeks ago. Just to say Jonny bought me a book for my birthday called A Race with Infamy. It is the Lance Macklin story. A very interesting read - life and racing drivers were certainly different in those days! But when I re...

Re: VSCC Morgans

Great Morgan photos again Bob - thank you very much.

Your presence must have inspired us as the Morgans not only won the Team Award but Jonny and I were First in Class too!

Cheers,

Mark and Jonny

Re: Fuel

Hi Alan,

I hadn't heard that but I had heard that the Esso Super Unleaded was supposed to be very good and have a consistently high octane.

Hope to get to Thruxton - if I have a full set of replacement brake shoes/linings by then...!

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Alan,

I have been using it for years and I know several of our fellow Morgan racers do too.

Have a good Coronation weekend!
