Re: 4/4 4 seater roof

Have a chat with Simmonds, they might have one on their shelf from a car they have made a new one for. That's where I got mine when I lost my hood.

Re: MSCC AUTOSOLO July 31st

Hmmm, looks like the kids won the day in most cases; Tamsin pipped dad Leigh, Jim Mountain pipped dad Peter, James beat me hollow,( but in an earlier post, I hoped James would beat me,)

Now Hairy, how come you let your Dad beat you today, hey? You really must try harder!!

Re: MSCC AUTOSOLO July 31st

ooh, wasn't thinking of getting anyone else to drive a race car, only the owner/regular driver, but if one is on offer......! The regs about fire proof suits, helmets and gloves is one which no doubt the heavy handed rule makers at the MSA will get their grubby hands on before long, and take another...

Re: MSCC AUTOSOLO July 31st

Absolutely no criticism of any organisers here, but maybe for future CLUB events, the rules could be modified to allow racers. It could be great for those members who plod along in their cars who don't maybe go to races, to actually see race cars at close quarters. After all, racers are club members...

Re: MSCC AUTOSOLO July 31st

Well, the regs have been changed, or at least sent out for approval. 1b tyres now allowed, I hope they will be penalised like they are in the sprint series.

Re: re-sealing tubeless wires

Thanks Philip, I am about to take my punctured wheel to the local tyre place, and will see exactly what's on the rim. I have spoken to MWS, and they say it could cost £50 per rim to re-seal!

re-sealing tubeless wires

Any ideas where to go to get this done? When my wires were refurbed, the tubeless facility was removed, and I would prefer to have them 're-tubelessed' rather than have tubeless tyres with tubes.

Re: Awards for the 2010 season

Well, the Awards Dinner has been and gone! And I am no longer your Awards Secretary, so may I take this opportunity to thank you all for your help, support and encouragement, I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Fair enough, I never managed to post a running total of points scored and a leaderb...

Trophies

Please look in your trophy cabinets, and see if you have any MSCC pots that (a) you have held for the last year (b) that you have had gathering dust, that need to be returned to your Club's Awards Officer. This doesn't apply to the Racing and Sprinting pots that were presented at the relevant driver...

Re: Awards for the 2010 season

If you have any trophies that are due to be presented, please return them to me without delay so I can have them engraved with the new recipients names. If you have trophies in your possession that are being represented to you, make sure you bring them to the Awards Dinner. Ta.

Re: Awards for the 2010 season

I hope that as many award winners will be at the Awards Dinner in February. Some of the awards are re-presentations, and have been awarded in the first place at the respective Drivers Dinners in November. I hope those being re-presented will make every effort to attend. Two places have been reserved...
