Morgan Challenge Series Dates

Hi John, Many thanks from all of us for setting up all the different headings for the various events we are eligible to enter. It would now be very useful for us to know the dates (even proposed) for the Morgan Challenge Series so we can plan around them - we know BDC meeting is August 4th so that's...

Hi Mark,

Do you know whether we can run on aero screens in this series or do we have to fit hardtops?

Also I seem to remember that the cars are all shod with Dunlop racing rubber - or can we use our/my Avon CR66-ZZ tyres?

Cheers

Mark

You are quite right John although I think even the Equipe series looks for FIA papers. The HSCC have their own Vehicle Identification Documents and have a strict technical criteria that the cars must comply with. I am not the person to throw much light on this as although I have registered for the H...

Hi John and Mark ( I think it keeps things simple in 4 cylinder racing if we just stick to these two names!) I look forward to having a fellow Plus 4 competitor on the grid at the HSCC Donington meeting but I think I will have to miss the Castle Combe meeting in favour of the BDC Silverstone meeting...

Second Hand Plus 8

Hi Tim, Interesting, but sounds expensive! And that's before you factor in shipping charges and duty. If anyone is looking for a late 70's Plus 8 there's one on the Gomog website for $20,000. Would make a great Sprint/Hillclimb/Race car - only thing is it needs a new ash frame due to termite damage!...

Hi Philip, I look forward to meeting you at our first race of the new season -especially in the Mustang! I must say this is one of the things I like about the HSCC series, the variety of cars competing in the different series. Charles, some of the dates are already out including the BDC Silverstone ...
