Re: On the scrounge

I'll certainly have some spare Nick. Not sure how many till I get the pack from MGCC but certainly three, possibly more.

Re: FIA GT3 Morgan Team

I have no real knowledge of this but there aren't any Morgans on the official entry list to date - see http://gt3europe.com/newsitem.php?key=524

Re: Oulton Park 8th May

Hi Nick, as one who has always been keen on motor racing it has been a constant surprise to me just how uninterested most other people are, even those who have sportscars. But then I suppose there's a big jump from buying a Val Doonican sweater to being a golfer... There will be quite a few of...

Re: Transponders

Sean, that's one of the transponders that Mary recommended in an earlier posting. They were called AMB, now they sell under the MyLaps name. The main website is http://www.mylaps.com and the English sales agent, I think, is http://www.hssports.co.uk. The 260R and 260DP seem to be what most have.

Re: Zandvoort anyone?

I'd love to do Zandvoort again, but unfortunately May is an impossible month for me. It's a great track Jochem. Well worth getting some practice there before the race if you can. Good luck!

Re: Transponders

I don't know if the organisers are no longer renting out transponders (may be worth a call to them to find out), but I have an AMB transponder. Their website is confusingly called mylaps . Any of their red transponders will probably be OK, but it is worth checking with an organiser like Steve Carr a...

If i remember rightly (from a slightly disturbing TV show), the view looking to the rear of those bikers' leathers isn't quite what one would expect... Will he get through scrutineering like that, one wonders?

Hope to be. I keep meaning to start up the car and check the tyres, but the weather has been so miserable that I haven't got to the garage yet.

Eek... [mobile chicane alert]
