Re: Centenary Race - the Tucker Trophy

The Top Hat series is on the Indy circuit on 23rd May. The Masters Festival is on the GP circuit on 24-25th May. Please see http://www.themastersseries.com/Race-Meeting-information.htm We will have to wait for clarification from Guy Loveridge - suggest that all those interested make sure that they c...

Re: The Fabulous SLRs

Hope you all don't mind, but I've changed the topic heading to something more appropriate. Simon OG will forever be "the new kid on the block"!! Here's a shot of Keiths car when it was owned by Tony Howard - the event is the Birkett 6 Hour at S'stone 18th Oct 2001. I remember it well as I ...

Re: FIA Papers

One debate I have had with many racers is what is allowed on the car and still get HTP papers? A common argument is "that it was fitted in period" or "I can prove that the factory listed it as an option in period" - but if it is not listed on the original FIA papers is it still p...

Re: FIA Papers

All fascinating stuff!! A comparison between the '61 and '62 papers show that they are vitually identical. The only differences I can see are: ('61 then '62) Inlet Valve increased from 33.5mm to 39.5mm Addition of axle ratio 3.56 Addendum to increase fuel capacity from 45 litres to 82 litres and whe...

FIA Papers

There are a few cars planning to get FIA papers. I have set up this section to post queries. I have seen two sets of 'period' FIA papers for Morgan +4s kindly sent on to me by Richard Plant. Dated 10 June 1961 for Mogan +4 with Reg 49 AFK with 1991cc engine (GT Class - FIA no 37) Dated 16 June 1962 ...

Re: AIA Algarve - Offer to BHP Members

Hi Phil

The Masters historic mob are joining a meeting at Portimao (Algarve) on 17-18th Oct. +4's should be eligible. Is this a different track?
