Hi,
I am not sure if the car was bought by a chap from Coys in London?
If so I pointed him in your direction

4/4 radiator cap
Hi, does anyone have a 4/4 radiator cap for a 4/4 hanging around that they would like to dispose of? If so I would be happy to renumerate you. Also does anyone have a mirror for the left hand side of the same car? I felt a bit vulnerable with a blind spot on the motorway strapped into my harness!! J...

Alloy wheels for 4/4
Hi- I have Rostyle steel wheels on my 4/4 4 seater but I think I may be able to save a lot of weight with alloy wheels. Does anyone know of some nice 15" alloy wheels that will fit on a 4/4 from 1979? All tips gratefully received!!

kumho tyres
Worth keeping a eye on e-bay I have just picked up a brand new pair of Kumho V70 Ecsta for my 4/4 for £80, saving £60 a tyre on retail!!

Fireproof overalls
Thanks to everyone for the advice.
I know from Simon Baines' article in Miscellany that I will need flameproof overalls- does this include gloves and boots or not?
thanks again,
John

headrest/harness/rollbar
Thanks for the advice. I don't have a roll bar (yet) but I think I will investigate getting a proper seat. I have seen a Sparco rev and mounts on e-bay- is it safe to buy a second hand seat or should I just stump up the money for a new one? Presumably then I also have to buy a harness- any tips on h...

headrest/safety seat
I am intending to start sprinting this season. I understand I need to have a headrest on my 4/4 seats to go sprinting. Having looked into it the replacement headrest would be more expensive than buying a cheap seat from sparco. Does anyone know what type of seats the 1987 4/4 come from? If so I coul...
