Having said that hidden in there is some true and entertaining reporting and I see now why you were wearing your ‘crime reporter raincoat’

Re: B D C
Great to see everybody even if ‘from a distance’ and a pity no spectators or viewing stands (or Techniques food) but a good entry of Mogs, good weather, good racing. Perhaps Motorsport UK will decide that self declaration scrutineering is adequate and will change the rules (perhaps with random spot ...

Re: Evans Waterless Water
There was a lot about it a few years ago and I think Mathew Wurr may have used it or had some association with it. More recently there were articles / letters in Octane Mag about it – with mixed feelings. I will see if I can find them

Re: SLRs at Silverstone Classic
All three Mog SLRs are racing this w/e at Thruxton. All appear to have practiced ok and in order of Keith, SOG, and then John E. But SOG car is in a different class GT2 whereas others are GT3. Race is tomorrow – good luck to all.
Re: B D C
I think all msv circuits allow public although maybe not into the paddock. And don’t know if this is controlled

Nice knees
B D C
Not sure which topic to put this under – ‘older morgans’, ‘magazines’… but as BDC is imminent I put it here. Interested to see August Miscellany P 15 return of Peter Askew with a photo of him at BDC 1968 (before my time ) and in his ‘modsports’ Mog at BDC in 1979 in the days when we raced against th...

Re: supersports
There is another for sale by DM Historics. The car raced by Jochem at LMC 2018 and has a history of Dutch racing. Peter I thought I recently commented as to the lack of racing ‘factory’ TR supersports. Apart from TOK (Keith) and XRX (Kremer) the only one racing is Simon King’s FOJ. Jim Deacon and Jo...

Re: Radio interviews about Morgan Challenge
Yes great stuff Mary – you are a natural – especially in the second episode where it all sounded very relaxed and unedited (??). I was just waiting for the plug of ‘we drive the Mog to the circuit’ and it finally appeared :) For those who want just the Morgan bits, in the first program it starts at ...

Re: Circuit up-date
Peter they are for your ‘team’ – your mechanics, nutritionist, therapist, florist, manicurist and pretty red car polisher. Sailing, wild swimming and football (in one part of Sheffield) all sound attractive alternatives. Impressive entry. Hope it goes well. I will follow on TSL. And no kissing and h...

Re: Circuit up-date
I am posting this as received in an e mail from a centre secretary. Have no idea if it is true. Perhaps those entered have received this info or perhaps Katy can confirm. ''From the MSCC FaceBook page The Morgan Challenge is back! MotorSport Vision have confirmed that spectators will be permitted to...

Re: New Book on the Plus 8
Looking on web I found some excerpts and it looks good. Several pictures of Mary's car including it 'destroyed' at Willhire 24 hours and on three wheels in a production car trial https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=J9LVDwAAQBAJ&pg=PT360&lpg=PT360&dq=1982+willhire+24&source=bl&ots...

Re: +4 Supersport
Ian You are probably aware that there are very few ‘genuine’ factory 1960s Super Sports cars in the UK. A number of cars that race are described as such as they are to the SS spec. Apart from TOK and XRX 1 that race the only regular factory SS race car is Simon King’s FOJ. John Clarke and Jim Deacon...
