Re: HSCC - Silverstone International 10/11th May
Really a mixed weekend for the Morgans at sunny Silverstone. Saturday saw Richard Plant storm off into an unassailable lead in the 70's Roadsport before the Morgan Gremlin struck. The throttle linkage detached putting the +8 onto 4 cylinders. 4 wasn't enough for Richard so he pulled in. Sunday saw P...

Re: Grande Passione Donington - 19th/20th April
Good result John, sounds like you had a great race. 1.5 secs off Malcolm and Rob is not too shabby. Shame about Keith - surprised that no one in the paddock couldnt hot wire the SLR - I have arrived at circuits with no keys at all and a certain someone had no problems getting the car started!!! What...

Grande Passione Donington - 19th/20th April
Good luck to John Emberson who is competing with his +4 at Donington this weekend with part of the Masters series. Let us know how you get on John?
Also in the entry is the Malcolm Paul / Rob Wells +4 which should give a good showing. Good luck chaps!

Re: HSCC - Cadwell Park 13th April
You could try AVONs, they're brilliant in the wet....I believe Yoko's have the edge in the dry...but then you're into a set of wets and drys. I tried this one season with a heavily scrubbed set of AVONs for the dry and non scrubbed AVONs for the wet. Every time I assembled on the grid with my "...

Re: HSCC - Silverstone International 10/11th May
The MGCC meeting is great - I used to be a regular both before and after I got into Morgans (I used to have a succession of MGs throughout the 70's and for a while I was a joint MG / Mog owner). I entered the Mog Challenge race last year and had a great time - big thanks to David James for avoiding ...

HSCC - Silverstone International 10/11th May
Will there be a bumper turn out of Mogs at Silverstone next month? I've entered - anyone else?
Perhaps we can set aside an area in the paddock for the Mogs to congregate? (+8s also of course).

Re: HSCC - Cadwell Park 13th April
Thanks Leigh
A good showing by the +4s with Jonathon Rushton and Mark Hoble finishing 1st and 3rd in class split by the TR5 of Colin Sharp. What happened to that white TR5 of Chris Burbury that gave me so much grief at Donington?
regards
john

Re: HSCC - Donington Park 30th March
It was good to catch up with all the Mog men at yesterdays HSCC round in glorious sunny weather. Perfect racing conditions with a cool breeze uncovering those hidden bhps. Mark, Mark and yours truly were in our +4s and Chris Phillips came out in his newly acquired +8. The race was pretty frantic and...

Good to hear from you Mr Bourne.....I was only enquiring about you to-day with Mr Conoley......are you doing any racing this year? I'm pleased to learn of a few Mogs that can give those pesky B's a run

Re: "Equipe"GTS - 2008
Well done all, had a quick squiz at the results and you are correct, some of those MGBs are indecently quick - a 1:28 at Donington is a fantastic time from an 1800cc MGB. The only 4 cylinder Mog that I can remember coming close to this time was Alan Wickenden in his early Morgan 4/4 fitted with a 'r...
