It may be worth giving Roger at Harpers a call

Hi all,

anyone got a inlet manifold to mount a pair of 40's to a ford crossflow (Kent) engine,

needs to be quite short as I have a long one, but the carbs would stick out much too far.

I can swap for the long one if that would suit anyone.

Hi Tim Sounds like a fault with the stepper motor (Idle regulation valve), take it out and give it a clean up with a bit of brake cleaner, plus you may be able to reinitalize it, by switching the ing. on and off in a certian sequence, but i'm sure someone with more experance of Rover V8's will be ab...
