Re: Bob's Photo Web Site

Great report on the TT Bob - and even better photos! It really is photo-journalism at its best! Although I think there are some less than flattering images of me in the Morgan People section! My ill-timed mechanical glitch was not fuel related - finished with just over 20 litres left in the tank. Su...

Re: Classic Saturday (and Sunday)

Hi Bob, Yes I noticed I had been demoted by 2 places when I got home on Sunday night and was sitting down looking through the results with a cold beer! I think it was because they hadn't picked up on their transponder times. It didn't actually affect me as they were faster cars further ahead of me. ...

Re: Classic Saturday (and Sunday)

Thank you Bob - I will look at once. And put you in my favourites folder!

I had heard that JC had a big one - it was the talk of his fellow Morganeers, but I haven't seen it myself. Can't wait!

Cheers

Mark

Do you think he will have it with him at BDC Silverstone?!

Re: Classic Saturday (and Sunday)

Hi Bob, A great synopsis of the weekend! It really was a fantastic event - there were just so many fabulous cars to see on track and in the paddock. And as you describe the racing was superb, all helped along by the sunniest weekend (at Silverstone)this year. I am however anxious to get in touch with...

Silverstone Classic 25/26/27/July

There is a fantastic entry for the Silverstone Classic this weekend - including several Morgans driven by all the usual suspects! I haven't got any spare wristbands I'm afraid (it's ticketless for competitors) but I would be pleased to see any Mog fans over the weekend. For a taster look at the webs...

Re: Le Mans Classic

Superb result Mark - you should be very proud.I have also spoken to Richard Plant who told me of their success winning a team prize - against the odds. Hopefully John will explain. Congratulations too to Keith in TOK - the most successful Plus 4 ever?! And special congrats. to John and Bill. I think...

Re: Reporting on the British Grand Prix

Bob, Sampled some of Jody Sheckters organic beer at the big HSCC Brands SuperPrix meeting the weekend before the British GP -very good it was too! but it didn't help my lap times! The sausages were an improvement though at our Saturday night Barbeque - ask John Clarke and Jonny his son who will vouc...

Re: Donington to become another concrete jungle?

So this is my conspiracy theory! I have a suspicious feeling this is all a blind by Max Mosley to show him in a good light and deflect criticism. After all it was the FIA who announced it. And not far behind Max (excuse the unintentional pun!) will be Bernie. He must know it is a non starter for Don...

Re: HSCC - Brands Hatch Historic Superprix 28-29th June

Hi John,

Might not need such long arms after all - if Mark H and Jonathon don't show! But will do.

I might be the one and only Billy No Mates on Friday night munching on a cremated sausage all by myself!

Look forward to seeing you - and Simon Saturday morning.

Cheers

Re: HSCC - Brands Hatch Historic Superprix 28-29th June

Hi Jonathan, Just seen your posting. I am hoping to arrive at Brands early evening on Friday so will bring some of my famous (according to Bob Bull!) cremated sausages! I too intend to camp but if the weather is as bad as last weekend I think the back of the car will be more inviting! Look forward t...

Re: Report on the AMOC Silverstone Meeting

Bob,

Do you realise that even this fascinating topic of yours has had more views than the Morgan Concours page had in an entire year...?!!!

...now there is a subject to get your teeth into. Although I don't want to presume. They are all your own, aren't they?!

Re: FISC EuroTour - Legendary Circuits Series (introduction)

Hi Pieter,

And welcome to Brakehorsepower! Your series looks particularly interesting to us Morgan 4 cylinder racers. Just for our benefit, what is the cut off date for eligibility?

Also due to the length of some of the races, are they two driver races?

Cheers

Mark
