Alan,

Your 1958 +4, OCO 738, is registered on DVLA and is taxed to October 2020.

Re: KUT 808 - Looking for my +4 DHC

Good evening Andy, I have posted on this forum only occasionally in the past but I do visit regularly and read the various posts. I think it is a great idea to have MHR as part of this forum and hopefully it will stimulate interest. No doubt Machiel Kalf will be making mention of this forum in his m...

Re: Where are they Now?

Good morning Andy, Pleased to note you received the pictures of the car via Macheil. Very much in road going trim when I photographed it. I would be interested to know if you have any idea of the date/year when the car was photographed with its hardtop/spotlights/mirrors etc and GB sticker !! By the...

Re: Where are they Now?

To Andy Downes, you were asking about the +4 registered 214 CTG. I have 4 photographs from my +4 collection of this car back in the 1970's :- - the first one is at Curborough sprint on 20 July 1975, red in colour, no front bumper, soft top and bonnet scoop....car had competitive look. - Oulton Park,...

Re: Mystery Mog

Over the weekend I just happened to be reading "Morgan Sports cars, The Lawrence Tune Years 1961 - 1964". In the 1964 year section of the book, page 343 for those interested , there is a paragraph on John Maclay. I quote from the book " At Brands Hatch the car went wide at Clearways a...

Re: Mystery Mog

I can't see anywhere that the car is confirmed as a 4/4 or +4 but I think we are talking a racing +4 ? Take a look under the bonnet and it looks very much like a TR engined car to me !!!

Re: The Pom

Hello Mark, Trust you are well and the early +4 rebuild is progressing. I was interested to see Bob Bulls' photos of the 1960 +4, UUX 209. Nice clear pictures. Yes, like you I am slightly confused by the year of the car and the reference to being a "bustle back". I have a 1956 "bustle...

Re: Bonnets and Cowl

Morning Mark,

Hope you are well.

I can see some family support is needed here.

Surely the price goes up not down.......you can see more of the road with the low line, particularly useful for you racers !!!!

All best.

Re: Morgan +4 Super Sports and +4+

Hi Simon, Ken Hill's book lists the S/S, production numbers 1 to 104, as per factory records. He also lists "Plus 4 Lawrencetune-engined cars, which, for various reasons, are not regarded by the Morgan Motor Company as true Super Sports - factory record". There are 11 cars listed in this c...

Re: Morgan +4 Super Sports and +4+

Morning Simon, Just to add a little more to this interesting debate :- - 4749 was brought over to Cheltenham for the Centenary in 2009. Details displayed with the car included "date of manufacture, February 1961, colour off white, sold by Acock and Brown to Mr. Gordon Adams who took delivery on...

Re: Serie I register

Hello Machiel,
I am not be attending the lunch meeting this Saturday. I am not a member of the racing fraternity but do go to as many race meetings etc as I can, to spectate, when the Morgans are racing.
Hope you have an enjoyable weekend.
Best regards,
Eddie.
