Hi Andy,
Do you think your wings would fit my 1961 lowline Plus 4 that I race with the HSCC as I run it on the wider Cobra type wire wheels?
Cheers
Mark

Re: The Chris Lawrence Trophy - Winner
Well done Jonathon - richly deserved. I am sorry that I too won't be there to see you collect the magnificent trophy (must be worth a fortune being a genuine Lawrencetune trophy!) but I also have a clash of dates. Never mind, well done all the same and look forward to seeing you soon. Now get that e...

Re: 1965 Plus Four For Sale
Hi Bob, Back off holiday now and into work! Well done for spotting the (deliberate) spelling mistake! Richard P. and I will explain one day! Since returning from sun,sea and sand in Algarve have found reason for graunching noise - the impact of the errant Midget was directly on the bolt that holds t...

Hi Robin,
I'm sure you are aware of Holden ( http://www.holden.co.uk ) but I find T & J Enterprises can supply just about any old or obsolete Lucas components. No website or email but speak to Terry! tel: 0121 777 1702
Cheers

Re: HSCC - Silverstone (National) 18th Oct
Looks like a great turn out of historic Mogs with 4 and 8 cylinders this Saturday. But no John Clarke?!
Let's hope the weather is as good this coming weekend as the one we have just enjoyed.
See you all there!
Cheers

Re: HSCC - Silverstone (National) 18th Oct
Hi John,
I have entered and had my entry confirmed. Hopefully it should be a good Morgan turn out and the Finals Race Meeting is usually well subscribed with it being the last race of the season. (Other than the Walter Hayes Trophy Meeting in November!)
See you there,
Cheers

Re: HSCC - Donington Park 4th-5th October
Hi Guys, Missed you! You were right John, the Morgans did clean up - well the Plus 8 guys did. James Paterson won in our Historic Roadsports race and Richard Plant had a well deserved win in the 70's Roadsports race the next day.And what a day it was! Saturday for our practice at 9 o' clock was dry ...

Re: WANTED Hardtop for 1993 Plus 4
Hi Allan, I think you will find one of Vics' hardtops too narrow for your more modern Plus 4. Dave Rutherford used to make all the hardtops for the more modern Morgans but as you may know he is no longer trading. However Sid Watson has taken over all his old stock and most importantly all the moulds...

Re: HSCC - Oulton Park Gold Cup 23-25th Aug
Hi Jon, They really are superb photos taken at the Gold Cup Meeting at Oulton. I know there are really rather a lot of my car but I do commend the other competitors - and spectators to view them! It would be good if Johns literary skills describing the race could be printed in Miscellany together wi...

Re: HSCC - Tyres and Any Other Regs
Hi John, As I understand it the Spa 6 Hour race has been traditionally run on Dunlop Historics but competitors have expressed concern that the track can be dry on one side and soaking wet on the other, especially over such a long race period and being Spa. So this year they are accepting good ol' Av...

Re: HSCC - Donington Park 4th-5th October
Hi John, I haven't got the actual timings yet but it has us down for the first race of the day on Saturday - and Richard in the 70's Roadsports down as last race of the day on Sunday! Cheers Mark PS. Looks like some great racing in between including Group C (Le Mans type cars) and Flavien and Vaness...
