Re: Something for Nothing!

Good to hear from you Machiel, it is a shame we can't meet now and again. With regard to the MSCC, they are welcome to the programmes, however, I can't see why they would want items with no Morgan connection, maybe their own meetings, and a few like the Birkett perhaps, I will make enquiries as you ...

Re: Challenge Anniversary

The 2024 Challenge series will be the fortieth season of racing, so a forty car grid seems an eminently sensible idea, then in 2025 the Anniversary can be celebrated in any number of ways.

Something for Nothing!

Dis-cluttering! Would anyone like two boxes of UK race programmes, most good as new, lot of club meetings plus some international, they must be worth a few bob, but I will gladly part with them for free to be rid of them. Early 2000's to date, inc. MSCC, MGCC, AMOC, VSCC, etc.

Re: Challenge Anniversary

Barry, Given the rather thin grids we have seen this yea, amasssing 40 Morgans might be a problem, I wonder if rather than 40 on the grid two heats of 20 might have some merit? Running one heat or race for the faster cars, and a second for less fast runners might attract some of the old timers back,...

Champion.

Well done to Jim Mountain, who has, I believe, won the 2023 aero Challenge, Jim has put together a very solid campaign and fully deserves his success.

Congratulations Jim. aka Number 88.

Re: Croft - on the scrounge!

Thanks for the bump Bob, but it's all sorted now thanks. So I should think, I hope it was 'sorted' before my post, as your request should not have needed a 'bump up'. Still I don't envy your trip into the hinterlands, Croft is a long way from Potton. :) Thank you ticket donor, who ever you are.

Come on chaps, Chris does a great job photographing the Challenge, someone must have a spare ticket, show your appreciation for a great supporter of the series.

Wallow if you will, its nostalgia time.
I think the pic of my car, when it was green, was my first race at Silverstone. Seems like an eternity ago!
Number 88 surely?

Re: Morgan Memories.

Andy, the £28 was not a serious remark, I am happy to donate the hard drive to any deserving cause, of course the pictures are almost exclusively of Morgans racing, and associated personnel, and the MSCC is not a racing club in the main, so the archive might be better in your care. I have downloaded...

Re: Morgan Memories.

2009 indeed, Leigh, the Birkett 24th. Oct 2009. Can you ID the assorted cars and drivers, some still active today?

Good to know you are still lurking here.
