Looking at MST I see at S’stone the SLR was 9th out of 40 (beaten only by Cobras and E Types). The Clarke / Horsman 4-4 was 21st out of 40 and first in class (I think I might have lost my seat to PH !). Paul Conway won the 40 grid big Roadsports and in smaller Roadsports Mark Hoble was about halfway...

Sorry Keith – it’s all hush hush. I hear rumour of SLR entry and as Standard Morgan Challenge Rules don’t apply there may be a lightweight spaceframe all Kevlar and carbon fibre twin turbo (plus supercharger) 4/4 just completing wind tunnel tests this week. The Techniques Trophy is getting serious !

1 Brian or one of his ‘lads’ 2 Trailer in case he can’t fix it On a more serious note I should think the best advice would be from those who drive to the circuit as they need to keep car going to get home. And they will be up with the RAC / AA policy on rescue from circuits. At Brands my car was fou...

Thanks Tony. I haven’t followed the previous events. That’s helpful. I wouldn’t go to Wembley (not even the new Wembley) for the food and wine and perhaps I’ll persuade son Neil that BDC at S’Stone is a more worthwhile outing. Or to see the real stars like Tony Lees – the Heritage Series.

Wembley - Race of Champions - Dec 16

My son is interested in booking for this. Anyone got any helpful info ? Is it likely to be any good ? Presumably no Morgans in it ! Keith ? Anyone else going want to combine on tickets ? Why is it advertised as 15th and 16th Dec, yet ticket websites say 16th from 1pm only ? There seems to be two sit...

Well done. You seem to make a BIG improvement on practice time.

And (to be pedantic and not rewrite history ) isn’t it TOK 258 ? But after a w/e at le Mans I’ll forgive you for that.

I always used to get home from a race meeting to be asked ‘ Did you beat Mary ?’ . After many years of not beating her I got a bigger engine. Unfortunately it now seems that “ Sharlie is the new Mary ”. And with Suzanne and Kathy there were 4 lady drivers at Snett. Thanks for the great report Andy a...

It would be nice if someone (Andy, Jack, Keith ?) could continue to give us updates when you have time.

Also if anyone can report on the progress of the FIA GT Mog which is due at S’stone on 5 May ?

That's a shame - I'm meant to be wizzing home to get off to a family outing - and others have a 3 or 4 hour drive home from Snett.

Thank you Mary – I didn’t know. Until a couple of years ago Clink lived a couple of miles away from me in a house with a large number of garages which he rented out for a modest rent – mainly I think because he enjoyed the social interest of car enthusiasts coming and going. His son Tony used to rac...
