Don't have any relevant photos of any suspension systems but John bought me 'Competition Car Suspension" a practical handbook by Allan Staniforth for Christmas 2007 so now may be the time to open it!!!

Re: Serious Warning - Beware of Car Park Scam
I'm not surprised at Bob's antics. I have evidence of his philandering ways at Goodwood but as I can't work out how to post photographs on this site you will have to take my word for it. And of course I couldn't expose the young lady in question to such public scrutiny especially since she is a marr...

Re: After The Techniques Trophy .....
I think that John is insane in his quest for glory riding the wilds of Dartmoor but now I wonder after your comments whether perhaps he is just making excuses to get away from me for several hours. 6 and a half hours last Saturday seemed a bit extreme though and a discussion with a fellow cyclist on...

Re: Help Required
Bob,
Not sure what is better.... a pair of loafers or a pair of old crocs!
Sorry we missed you at Silverstone. John had to make do with a chat with Murray Walker instead.
Catherine.

Re: Centenary Race - the Tucker Trophy
Very sensible suggestion Leigh. But is anybody else as fair minded as you? I'll certainly provide the cake if everyone lets RU win!!! John will be racing on Dunlops so perhaps he could be given a few laps head start as well! I'm sure he wouldn't object. If things don't go well for Charles we may mak...

Bob, It's always a pleasure to see you and of course we are always well mannered! John's problem was caused by a minor component failure and we have only praise for Techniques who did a fantastic job for us over the weekend. Thanks to Brian and James. Thanks also to Rick Bourne who pointed us in the...

Re: Bob
Bob, I've already said that the Team Manager thing is all a bit of a con and especially now that I'm in deep trouble with John for putting my back out lifting things that he had said he would sort out. Not wheels either! I'm eating humble pie along with the paracetamol. While we are on the thread of...

Re: Centenary Race - the Tucker Trophy
What John is not letting on is that he has already arranged the birthday celebrations with a trip to see Roberto Alagna sing at Covent Garden in the evening. So I hope the race isn't too late in the afternoon as there is now going to be another race to get to the opera in time especially if there is...

Re: What size trailer do I need?
I think you have presented only half the picture in regard to the 'Emberson Ploy' Bob. The arrangement is definitely one of Quid Pro Quo! 'Kath' may appear to have been taken in by being given grand titles but by showing 'Joe' support she is just collecting brownie points which she can use later. Al...

Re: Welcome Catherine
Bob, John says that one of my strengths is that I seem, with one or two exceptions (including people who hog the outside or middle lanes of the motorway when I want to pass), to be able to get on with most people. John may have moved west but like Mary he too used to live in Essex. I used to live in...

Re: Welcome Catherine
Dear Bob, I do have limited keyboard skills but have been confused as to how I should be putting myself forward. Since joining the forum I seem to have acquired a number of additional personae. I had previously accepted my demotion from supporting wife to under mechanic with resignation but then Joh...
