Re: Fathers & Sons

They've done it again! In the 70s Roadsports race at Silverstone, William and Richard qualified next to each other on the front row then blitzed the field for William to win a resounding victory with Richard coming in a few seconds behind in their +8s. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51621317920...

Re: Gordon Spice

I'm sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. Whereas Leigh is not quite right "I think he created the SLR Morgan with Chris Lawrence" - there is some truth in his statement. Gordon was the Company Secretary of Chris's company Lawrence Tune Engines. He took over from Len Bridge in 1964 when the S...

Re: Fathers & Sons

Still no fathers and sons have qualified on the front row and finished 1-2 in the race.

These postings make me think this is very special indeed.

Was it really 10 years ago?

Donington Paddock 1996

25 years ago, this was the paddock at Donington Park minutes before the Morgans went onto the grid.

Can you name the drivers and others caught by the camera?

Fathers & Sons

How good was that with Richard on pole and William lined up next to him on the front row in their +8s. In the race, William took the lead and the chequered flag with Richard a clear 2nd. Superb. =D> I cannot come close with my highlight being the final of a table tennis competition and meeting my so...
