Re: Fibreglass Morgan body
Thanks Andy and Mark, I am thinking about it for a 4/4 track day car, no FIA rules, nothing... It will definately be easier and cheaper then anything else.... it already has plastic wings so it will make a very light car....and people will most probably not be able to tell the difference from a norm...

Fibreglass Morgan body
Anyone out there familiar with an aftermarket product of a fibreglass body for a morgan? I found here http://www.fibreglass-mouldings-cambs.co.uk/ at the website of Sid Watson the following: "Complete 2-seater lightweight replacement body units, including doors: 4/4 and +8". Does that mean...

Re: New chassis
Thanks Jack, didnt know about the rear reinforcements and the FIA's approach to that one. Will keep it as original as possible. X head will definately be an original +4 unit in new situation. We are experiencing stricter scrutineers here in Holland as well...good thing I guess and equals the Morgan ...

Re: New chassis
Thanks Tim, will definately ask him to arrange crosshead... my current track appears to be too wide for FIA standards, so it will probably be a plus eight crosshead or a later one... so this is the time to also set that straight...

All the best for 2015 for you too Mark. Hope to come to the Bentley Drivers meeting again for the TT - this time to complete more than 1 lap....;-) Will hopefully see you there! Re: New chassis
Thanks so much Robin. Now in contact with Terry at GEE.
It is 8 weeks delivery time so will do the operation after the 2015 season, but sounds very good and not too expensive as you say.
They also do the usual reinforcements so that saves DIY welding...
Best wishes, Jochem

New chassis
I currently consider changing the chassis of my +4 race car (1964) before the 2015 season. There is old accident damage, it has been under the car for decades while it was always raced and I would like to make some structural changes anyway, so might as wel do everything at once... Anyone any experi...

Wanted - steel crank TR
Maybe a bit naive, but does anyone out there have a spare steel crank for sale for a TR engine?
Worth asking before drawing the conclusion that a new one is the only option.....
Thanks, Jochem
