Re: Gordon Spice
This might be of interest, transcribed from Autosport 16 September 2021: “He [Gordon Spice] bought an MG TF, but the car proved to be disastrously unreliable on his early outings with it in 1962. He replaced it with a Morgan and soon made rapid progress, so much so that in 1964 he made his first app...

Re: Mille Miglia - has a Morgan ever entered or competed?
Many thanks for all the feedback - reading John's report was fascinating. Belated congrats on your achievement 10 years ago! =D> We have always dreamt of taking part ourselves. A Morgan seemed an ideal car but sadly that isn't an option. :( Will have to carefully check the MM regs and then trawl thr...

Mille Miglia - has a Morgan ever entered or competed?
I was intrigued to look through the list of eligible cars for the Mille Miglia "recreation". According to the organisers, a Morgan never entered or competed in the Mille Miglia from 1927-1957. The official list of eligible cars is here: www.registro1000miglia.it/wp-content/uploads/...

Re: Fathers & Sons
Nearest to Richard and Will's Silverstone achievement in separate cars that I can think of on the international stage would probably be the Andretti 1-2-3 in the 1991 Milwaukee Indycar race. Son Michael 1st, father Mario 3rd and John (nephew to Mario and Cousin to Michael) 2nd...

Re: HSCC Silverstone 22-23 May 2021
Some great racing. Congrats to all who took part, in particular to the Plants, père et fil. =D> Richard seemed to struggle for grip through Luffield and let one of those pesky Porsches through as a result. By the time Richard had repassed, William was long gone! A typical English summer day - cold/d...

HSCC Walter Hayes Trophy
Sadly, it looks like the WHT at Silverstone on 31 October & 1 November is going to be a "behind closed doors" event. Previously there have been various Morganista racing, sometimes in Morgans, sometimes not. If anyone reading this can get me in, maybe to help out as gofer/timekee...
