Sorry not to be there.

Have a great time.

No ‘real’ twentieth century +4 Morgans race in the Mog race series any more.

It is all twenty first century +4s :(

Morgan +4 new years lunch 2016

Post by John Clarke »

Dear +4 racers

Oh dear....I feel such a fraud. I am away again December, January and February trying to avoid the worst of the British weather......perhaps we should start a spring lunch? No seriously, for the 2nd year running I am going to have to rely on somebody else to phone the leathern bottle pub warning them of a +4 invasion....that's all there is to do....so perhaps someone could step forward?

I've started this new thread so as not to confuse with last years get together......but see Leigh's, Phil's and Alans thoughts on dates and stuff in "Morgan +4 new years lunch 2015" thread.

This will be our 5th consecutive year (I think)....and I would really like to be there..... Perhaps someone can set up a live' feed' via Skype and then I can 'attend' via cyberspace?

I'll be raising a glass down under ...... Just decide on date.

Best wishes

John

Dear +4 friends,

If you made a decision what the date is, maybe we have a good excuse to pop over to The UK to enjoy this special event. So, I keep an eye on the news on this page.

Best regards,

Machiel Kalf.

Dear +4 friends,

Have you made a decision what the date of the New Years Lunch will be?

I look forward to the response,

Machiel.

Someone somewhere, sometime needs to make up their mind, I have other plans for the 30th, so hope that is not the chosen date.

All in favour raise there hands for the 9th.

or the 16th.

or the 23rd.

From the limited number of replies the 23rd. looks like a good date.

Of course as a mere hanger on I hesitate to make decisions. Where is Simon King when you need him?

All in favour say Aye!

It's obviously going to be one hell of a lunch - it has two threads going simultaneously on the forum! \:D/
