Hi All,

I have just spoken to the LB (taking my temporary responsibility seriously) and confirmed we're still planning to descend upon them tomorrow. As usual they're suggesting we meet in the long bar (for those who have not been before this is accessed from the door at front of the pub on the right hand side as you face it).

I've said we'll start arriving between 12-12:30. The pub is open from 11am.

See you all tomorrow.

Simon

sadly I can't make it tomorrow after all, but happily it's nothing to do with the link - it's not mine!
Have fun.

I'm home, but I expect that the rest of the +4 mob are still at it discussing obscure number plates etc. Very nice to meet so many nice people in one place, and to make new acquaintances. Hi Housy! Good to say hello to Roger, Machial and Ingrid, all-in-all a fine day out. Thanks to Phillip for lunch, and Lemon and Lime, I'll be back next year if the drinks are free.

Thank you for your company one and all, see you around some circuit when the sun shines again.

God bless,

Bob.

Yes great to see everyone on Saturday again - makes the start to the new season that bit nearer...

Had an email from Adrian Dence this morning asking how we got on?

He was disappointed to miss you Alan and Brian Kendall but he vows to make it next year...

Cheers

Thanks to Simon for organizing and I hope Machiel got a Eurotunnel home despite the weather and the fire.

I sent John Clarke (founder of the event) a photo of us at the pub and he sent me one of him and family in the sunshine at Perth yacht club (Australia not Scotland !)

Thank you for the comments, my pleasure. A couple of hours doesn't seem long enough to catch up and discuss plans etc - no doubt this view will not be echoed by Bob who of course 'suffers' our chatter - every year!!

John, happy to hand back the reins for next year. I'll be content with handing back what can now be considered an international event on the Plus 4 drivers calendar (thank you Machiel & Ingrid) and of course having set a new benchmark for time since Plus 4 drivers last met (Alan and Brian - 50yrs will take some beating surely!)
