Over the weekend of Jume 5 & 6th the VSCC are running 'The Brooklands Double Twelve' motoring festival, a series of driving tests and concours for specified classes of car. Amongst the categories included is one for Morgan pre war three wheelers, 4/4's and Plus 8's up to 1975. A treat for Morgan fans!!

Plenty of attractions as well as the competition elements, Trade Village, Museum, One Make club exhibits, and 'family entertainment'!!!

Other categories are for XK series Jags. C, D, E, & XKSS. Touring cars from 1918 to 1939. & 1945 to 1965. Alfa Romeo (100th. anniversary). Anglo American Sports Cars(V8's basically.) Minis. V & E to 1918. Actual Brookland's race cars (Vintage) & PVT. Spirit of Brooklands Pre War & Post War to 1975.

Get out the polish.

Of course we will Jerry, that is all of us hairy chested types (Sorry ladies, you are not included in that category, or.....) who prefer the manly pursuits as practiced by MG and similar drivers, the post was intended for the 'shiny car brigade.'The wheel washers, body buffers, leather latherers, chrome cleaners, spoke sparklers, glass gleamers! You know the type, keep Halfords in business, all dusters and polish. Each to own of course, if you would rather shine than drive, why not? They can't touch you for it.

*See you there.

Bob.
