British Grand Prix

Post by Bob Bull »

Just in case anyone is interested the opportunity to purchase tickets for the British Grand Prix at reduced prices ends next Thursday;

With the countdown to the 2013 Formula 1® season in full swing, Silverstone is urging fans to make the most of Early Bird ticket prices for this year’s FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX (28-30 June). The deadline for purchasing tickets at discounted rates is less than one week away – 17:00hrs on Thursday 07 February – and only a limited number of ‘Early Bird’ tickets are still available.

Silverstone has confirmed that more than 50% of tickets have already been sold for the UK’s premier motor sport event, which will see four British drivers line up on this year’s Silverstone start grid. A number of grandstands are already sold out, including International Pits Straight and sections of Club, Village and Woodcote, while ‘General Admission’ tickets, providing fans with the opportunity to watch all the action from various viewing locations around the Grand Prix circuit, have also been selling fast.

Taking place over the last weekend in June – one week earlier than its traditional July date – circuit bosses are expecting another capacity crowd. While three-day and single-day tickets are still available in a number of grandstands, the message from Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuits Limited, is a familiar one: “To make the most of our ‘Early Bird’ prices, fans need to book their tickets before the 07 February deadline; or as early as possible if they want to guarantee seats in their favourite grandstand.”

Tickets for the 2013 FORMULA 1® British Grand Prix are on sale 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A limited number of tickets are available at ‘Early Bird’ prices until 17:00hrs on Thursday 07 February. Visit http://www.silverstone.co.uk or call 0844 3728 300.

See you there?
