Hi there
Can anyone provide written or photographic evidence of the fitting of Weber carburetters to the TR engine powering a +4 prior to 1960.

Dear Allan,
Many companies who are involved in tuning TR-engines can offer you the right manifolds for fitting the Webers.
In Melvyn rutters catalogue you find them as well.
If you like I can send you some photos of the trottle system from the past. If you prefer modern stuff, all the Wber dealers can help you. Google?
Best regards,
