Postby SimonScott » Thu Apr 27, 2017 7:52 am

Just spotted on the Brooklands website... thought I should pass on... :)
"Prudence Fawcett's Racing Exploits"
Date July 13, 2017
"The daughter of a solicitor Prudence Fawcett, at the age of 25 and with very little previous racing experience, entered the 1938 Le Mans 24 hour race in a Morgan 4x4 with co driver Geoff White. Charles Trevelyan is the son of Prudence and also happens to be the Chairman of the Bugatti Owners Club. Tonight he will talk about his mother's adventures with motor cars and aeroplanes, the lead up to the Le Mans race and the race itself plus a little glimpse of his own collection of cars. The talk begins at 7.30pm"
