Hi John,

If you need more confirmed numbers, I'm up for the 17th too. I have a membership card for B.Wheels from last time University went. Lucky dates as I finish Uni on Friday 16th for Easter and on Sunday 18th I need to be at Llandow Circuit for first round of BUKC (British Universities Karting Championship) in Club100 Karts.

No Pressure on me then

For those who have young offspring and budding Morgan drivers the Daytona Kart track at Milton Keynes runs a course for 8-15 year old's on Feb 13-15th. This includes a lot of track time as well as information and briefing sessions.
Details can be obtained from Deborah Tee (deborah.tee@mpacreative.co.uk) 01372 414120, or enter at www,daytona.co.uk (0845 644 5503).

My only connection with the track is by virtue of being on the e.mail list. I AM NOT ON COMMISSION!

The circuit is just off the A5 in MK and has easy access from the M1.

Sean! You could wear your short trousers!

Bob

Is it a good idea to encourage my grandson to drive at speed at a young age?

I suppose though that he could then drive me to the pub in a few years time.

Anyhow, thanks for the gentle way you reminded me that I'm not exempt from advancing years. How about a kart event for senior citizens with free hot chocolate thrown in? I could bring my bus pass as proof of age!

Stay warm

Robin,
I did not DELIBERATELY set out to make you feel old, but if my entirely innocent post has had that effect well it makes me glad I am not alone, my grandson is getting married this year!

As to keeping warm! Well you can always light a fire with a Morgan, but Vauxhall Astra's are little help in that department.

Keep smiling,

Bob.

Earlier last year I tried to convince my sister that my young nephew should try karting at Daytona as a first step towards proper (Morgan) racing - then she saw a certain footballer demolish Phil's Morgan #-o

I'm hoping for some amnesia to kick in (her not me) and get the boy out there this year. It's a good little circuit and I'm sure he'll learn plenty!
