Richard Shepherd Barron has kindly agreed to present the Morgan TT - other than Richards success at Le Mans you might not know that he was ultra competitive in a +4 Morgan, winning his class twice at the Brands Hatch BRSCC meetings in 1961, beating Chris Lawrence in the process! Richard was behind the wheel of a Morgan again in 1962, competing at Spa where after a spirited drive, he finished 2nd behind a Porsche. He was leading Chris again in the Tourist Trophy at Goodwood but then went out of the race with a broken piston with Chris going on to a fine 2nd place. ...... and Richard has never owned a Morgan!

Leigh points out that Octane (August) has a short promo on the race.

Regs should be out soon.

Entries are flooding in for the Morgan TT - the grid is filling up fast, so if you don't have your entry in yet, please don't delay. Remember we're competing for slots on the grid with the ACs and MG T Types.

The closing date for entries is next Friday 28th July. Entries to-date have been received from:

Jonathan Rushton (+4)
Matt Taylerson (+4)
Will Sargeant (+4)
Mark Shears (+4)
Mark Gilbert Smith (+4)
John Clarke (+4SS)
Keith Ahlers (+4 - TOK)

I understand from Tracy and Brian, that many more are in the pipeline.

That's the largest collection of 4 cylinder Mogs on track for a very long time already!!

Sadly I can't be there as it's the same weekend as my next Fiesta meeting (a double header at Anglesey, so I can't exactly nip back after), but that sounds like a good group of cars! Good luck everyone, do we have enough for a 4 cylinder team in the Birkett again now?

I’m willing to hire a suitable car if anyone has anything available !!
Or, John, perhaps your pre – war car may have its engine repaired by then ?
