Silverstone Classic

Post by Bob Bull »

I note that among the entries for the 'Peter Gethin Trophy' is one, Matthew Wurr, number 99 driving a 4998cc McLaren M10B!

Any other Morgan drivers competing or attending the meeting? Apart from various well known 'Celebrities' of course!

The only entry list I have found are on the HSCC web site, so no idea about the Gentlemen competitors.

Thank you, Tony, I wondered what a McLaren M10B looked like.

Missed you in Assen Bob. No nice photos or scathing comments to look forward to...

Had a memorable trip back calling in at the wonderful Airborne Museum at Arnheim on Monday on our way to the ferry at Rotterdam (www.airbornemuseum.nl)

Perhaps we will bump into one another at the Classic?!

Cheers

Thank you Jochem - some great pictures and interesting Youtube footage. Looks like there is plenty to look at!

A great weekend and good to meet you - look forward to seeing you racing in England before too long!

The weather at the Silverstone Classic was superb and a bit different to Assen last weekend!

Cheers

im not sure I recognise this desperado!
My abiding memory of one mathew wurr is that of that at practically every circuit without exception , of a pair of feet below a red morgan perched on axle stands, various parts either missing or randomly scattered around the vehicle corpse, and accompanied by series of ripe expletives too numerous to repeat!!! ( at which point family sensibly busy themselves elsewhere)
well
anyway
