Well Peter several suggestions spring to mind but this is a family show so;

Team name; Peter's Children.

Manager; Dr.Barnado.

Scratch; Almost certainly.

Handicap; Father.

Tag Line; "It's All Downhill From Here On."

Well it might inspire Leigh to come up with his usual multiple suggestions, and Jack to come up with something suggestive, and cause Mary to chide us all.

Bob.

I do observe that (L to R) there seems to be a search for lightness with the ‘central chassis strut’ getting progressively thinner.

Four men at the back and two of them throwing their gullible little sisters into the firing line at the front.

Well here's how we got on :-

24th (of 70) on Handicap

29th on Scratch

Not a particularly exciting final result, but we had our normal, great, trouble-free run, and we had a ball just a shame the handicap was against us. This was our 15th consecutive outing, we were however the 1st Morgan Team home :P

Handicap winners were Regency/TBR Racing total 153 laps - a team of Citroen Saxo hot-hatches.

Our result Morgans For Fun total 149 laps

Great to see so many friends - "Thank You" for your help and support. Good to see Aero Challenge racer Paul Bryan popping in for lunch, Paul was running in the Herts Couty Auto & Aero Team (44th total 147 laps).

Special "Thanks" to Bob Bull for his good humour and for staying on to do the Team Photo for us, hopefully he'll post in due course. He was esteemed company that day as he was to be 'Guest of Honour' at a the Marshals' Dinner in Towcester that evening.

A batch of 'images' (as I am told they should be described) now on the usual site, all from the track. apologies to Jonathon for missing his session entirely, I must have been bust flogging pictures.

Some 'adult' content will be added shortly, but please do not view it in front of the children.

Many thanks as always to all of the Morgan people for being so friendly, however, I feel something should be done about those ladies who force feed the media with bacon rolls, home made cakes, sweets, pies, sausage rolls, etc., etc. It is just not decent.

Well done to the 'team' and their manager for a flawless performance, spoilt only by the utter folly of the handicappers.

Thoroughly enjoyable day and even the weather was kind, roll on next year.

Andy. Did you beat the 'other' Morgan team? I did spot another Malvern made machine circulating, where did that team finish. We need to know before you can claim to have been the best Morgan outfit.

Bob.

Darn it!

Does that mean I'm going to have to start reading your posts Andy? It's bad enough having to read Mary and Jack's, how much can a man stand?

Apologies; I should have known that you would not make empty boasts.

Contrite Bob.

Pictures from the 'Pits' now on site, and I use the word pits advisably.

Beware of scenes of lust and debauchery are not suitable for viewers of a delicate disposition.

Does anybody have any details about these cars now please ?

Anglemog Saxons
Terry Garland - 4/4 4-seater TUP 826K
Dark Blue, I (Andy D) nearly bought this car in 1980, but no news since
The current owner Shane Howe has been in touch to say he's rebuilding TUP and is looking for some history - see "Where are they Now" in the 'Older Morgans and the MHR' section of this website - link here.
