No engines prior to 9am and Donington are rather strict this year----then a mad rush to noise test and assy for all cars

looking at the weather forecast a boat may be more useful.............

Jack, mine doesn't have an engine - I pedal it along.
John - You can only have a rowing boat as no engines are allowed.

A couple of years ago at donington historic meeting Tamsin was sharing my pre war car and arrived at 08.00 am. At about 08.40 am she went off to drive it down the road as she hadn't driven it for some time. It is road legal. At 08.55 I got a phone call from her and assumed there had been a disaster. But she was phoning to tell me she couldn't drive it back into the circuit until 09.00 am as it is a 'race engine'
