Pom anyone? Entries still open , 100 entrants including a Morgan 4 seater in what may be its last (non) race with current pilot!

It's a secret, but a clue can be found in the December Miscellany, and other posts on site, made while certain people were lost in the African jungle. #-o
However if you want to purchase a red four-seater, Morgan with a race pedigree, I could put you in touch.

Scoop.

PS; If you keep your ear to the ground you are bound to pick up the dirt.

John

Chris has entered but not in a Morgan. He has acquired a 'new' vehicle just for this. It should be entertaining as there are about 6 of them from Bonhams and Chris all in the same type of car!

145 entries!!
I think the Hangar Straight in the 30-98 wil be conducive to the reading of a fine novel.
See you there. brrrr

Tony, you know full well I am mad, but coming from a man who was going to drive the Vauxhall Viper which requires clinical insanity to race... really :lol
Looking forward to seeing you and Jen

Tony

I thought the best 30/98 drivers started the event and then would find a nice pub just after the start. This winning technique worked very well on the Measham. There is probably a nice pub on the Hanger Straight. Pity the Pom is not at Donington before they knocked down the Redgate pub.

Still, when you do the Le Mans classic you could stop at L'Auberge des Hunaudières after a couple of laps!

I think Tony is going to stop at the Green Man for 40 minutes.

Somebody so high in the echelons of the Vintage Sports Car Club, would never besmirch the Pomeroy by skiving off to a drinking den during the event, instead of braving the freezing rain and bitter wind of Silverstone in February driving a rather ill equipped sports car.

Any way when one's wife is even higher up the ladder ........................................! [-X

And John I recall seeing a picture of a Morgan with snow on the seats at some past event. :)
