Bob Bull's interesting account of the launch on 7th December of John Bevan's Classic Tracks venture is now on the Challenge web site along with links to his photographs of the day's proceedings.

Many thanks to Bob for his unfailing work for the Challenge throughout 2017.

Despite starting with awful weather it was a good day and the weather dried off.

Thanks to those whose cars I borrowed for a drive – the Roadster L’wt is a bit ‘easier’ than my 70s Plus 8

The red G reg +8 is a ‘hotshot’ name from the past – Peter Garland making his return to the circuits.

Also saw James Edgerton but his fast +8 was tucked up at home and seems unlikely to return.

Good luck John with the new venture

Thank you Leigh, Mary and Bob!
Happy New Year to you all.
Glad you enjoyed the Classic tracks launch of our bespoke track days for classic cars.
Bob, Leigh, I think I will see you at the +4 racers lunch this month?
Mary- are you at the Autosport show or Race retro?

I have no plans to go John, but hope to send some leaflets up with Richard Thorne when they are ready.
