Web site updates 2018

Post by Mary Lindsay »

Phill Thomas has kindly provided us with a link to some great footage from the Eight Clubs Silverstone race meeting in 1952. There is at least one Series One Morgan amongst the competing cars.
This is "proppa" racing!

Thanks Phil, I go pretty much that far back, although my only visits to Silverstone in 1952 were for Formula 1 events, it was not until 1955 that I started going up for club events, and 60+ years later I am still at it.

Alan House has also provided an entry list for 1963 Goodwood and there is a link to some footage of the racing on the History page.
Many thanks to all contributors.

So, how is your personal data being used by these Social Media sites? I wonder how many of you voted for Donald Trump?

The various photographic displays show just how miserable the weather was which, added to an 'unforced error' on my camera settings meant that much action from the second race was rubbish, so if I missed you, sorry! Several excursions were amongst the missed photo ops, therefore many have escaped public humiliation.

I must confess that one 'mistake' was recorded, but the individual was so embarrassed that he tried to delete the evidence from my memory card! Can you believe it?
