Race reports for 2018

Post by Mary Lindsay »

We are looking for volunteers to write race reports for the web site and Miscellany for the 2018 season.

The reports can be factual, humorous or a mixture of both.

So far I have had one (much appreciated) volunteer - Greg Parnell.

Events are:
Sat 7th/Sun 8th April - Snetterton CSCC
Sat 21st/Sun 22nd April - Silverstone Nat VSCC
Sat 19th May - Oulton Park - VSCC
22nd - 25th June - Spa CSCC
Sun 15th July - Donington Park MSCC
Sat 4th August - Silverstone Nat BDC
Sat 11th August - Mallory Park VSCC
Sat 29th September - Snetterton MGCC

Please let me know if you can write a report either on this forum or contact me by email via the Challenge web site Contact page

Mary,
I am always happy to write one of my excellent reports for all of the rounds, even those I actually attend.

So everyone, I can see that this posting has had 39 views but only Greg Parnell, John Bevan and Bob Bull have volunteered.

To these great supporters and stalwarts I am very grateful but it is unfair for the load to fall so often on the same people. =D>

So come on you shy scribes and budding reporters - step forward and support YOUR race series! ](*,)

Mary knowing the Aero drivers, I rather think that any report by most of them would not prove of much use, and just think of all of the time you would spend spell checking etc.

I know the old adage about monkeys and Shakespeare, but I'm not sure that theory would hold good in this context.

No! No leave it to the experts. [-X
