Does anyone know what the format is for spectators at the BDC meeting. So far as I can make out, the Silverstone website is advertising tickets for Luffield only.....does that mean spectators are restricted to that stand ?

Have been going to the BDC meeting for over 40 years and it was always great to take up different vantage points around the circuit.

I appreciate the Covid issues, but this is hardly a packed spectator meeting !!

Thank you.

Hi Eddie,
I agree, seems strange that they can have the masses at the Classic and the GP. I know that spectator tickets are on sale, might be worth a call to the Silverstone Ticket office next week

BDC was advising members that tickets could only be booked through Silverstone, but that they would be valid for all areas including Paddock
as usual right hand does not know what left is doing
anyone have any ideas what no of tickets drivers are allocated

Barry, I think it says in the final instructions, drivers get 4 tickets.

Due to ongoing problems with the 'Waterworks' I shall miss the meeting for the first time in may years, so may I wish you all a good day's racing, and a safe journey. I am sure Chris will provide some great pictures as always.

Cheers,

Bob.

Peter,

Many thanks for your post yesterday evening. I am planning to attend and do require a ticket, if still available.

BDC will not be the same without your usual attendance and resulting banter
Do hope that you get problem fixed quickly
