Exhaust Silencers

Post by GeorgeMartin »

It seems my silencers are empty of their wading material; I think it sounds fantastic, but the guys at scrutineering don’t seem to share my enthusiasm. Unfortunately these are not of a repackable type, so I need to get some new ones before the Snetterton opener in April.

Can anyone recommend a supplier/manufacture, ideally for an oval design so I can still just about get over those damn speed bumps, and repackable so I can maintain them myself next time.

Many thanks

George.

I used Techcraft silencers and was very happy with them. http://www.techcraft.co.uk/tcsilencer.html

I (actually supplied from Chas) used custom crome based in Nuneaton

They make a std range of re packable and sell all the stuffing!

You will need to check the diam size

We've used a really good local firm, Longlife in Berkley. We had a complete system built for the class R roadster with repackable silencers (About £300) and then we've had race cats and silencers for the class B. They make their own systems to fit the car and what you need. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
