Motor Sport and Business F1 magazines for sale

Post by SimonScott »

I am still clearing my motor sport library  ...ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT TO BID... :OO:

Latest to go under the hammer on eBay are 18 bound volumes of Motor Sport magazine. That's 216 copies! House move means a very reluctant sale.
Binders alone cost £14-99 each and £14.99 x 18 binders = £269-82. Bid today for a bargain - worth buying for the binders alone. All in excellent condition - I am very careful with magazines and binders. Collection from Northamptonshire - 10 minutes from A14/M1/M6 junction. See https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152876689190 ... 1555.l2649 for further information and bid.

Also Business F1 magazine - 2003-2007 bound. From Volume 1, Issue 1 in 2003 until the publication ceased in December 2007. All bound in publishers binders. Editor was Tom Rubython (author of "Life of Senna" and "Shunt"). If you have read those weighty tomes you will know Rubython's obsessive attention to detail - no short articles in here. This was deemed to be a "trade" magazine for Formula One to avoid conflicts with consumer Formula One magazines. As a result, you have a riveting read. If you want to know what really went on during this dramatic and political time in F1 racing then this is the only place that dared to publish the facts. I always used to think of it as a mixture between Autosport in the old days and Private Eye! Each individual monthly issue sold at £25 so it only had a limited readership - bound runs are very rare. I invested over £1000 in the magazine even as a subscriber and was really sorry the magazine stopped publishing. And now I am sad that a house moves means I am now looking to sell my bound copies. Hopefully they will find a new owner who will enjoy them as much as I have. But if they don't sell then I am definitely keeping them - just don't tell Carol!!! Condition excellent. Collection from Northamptonshire - 10 minutes from the A14/M1/M6 junction. Or from North Yorkshire on request. See https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152876693867 ... 1555.l2649. Very useful in solving Bob's quizzes! =D>
Happy bidding! :)

Simon, maybe posting a link on some of the Formula 1 web sites might be a good idea, if you have not already done so. I could post your links on ten/tenths if you want.

Love the curtains, by the way.

Hi Bob
If you could post a link that would be great. =D> I don't use any other forums. But there is only a day to go now on the eBay auction...
Best wishes and hope you like the new carpet as well... :) :)
