Re: Citroen 2CV for Sale
Looks lovely - am sorely tempted.
How many laps of Snetterton has it done?
Regards, Tony

Re: Citroen 2CV for Sale
It has been to Snetterton as a donor car but never been round it!
We bought it originally so that I could drive it on the road to learn the interesting gear-change arrangements. Now that I have done five 24 hour races in a 2CV I think I have got the hang of it.
If you are that tempted - we are open to offers - (one careful lady driver etc. etc.)

Mike (18) is looking for a car but sadly he doesn't think 2CVs are cool - what a Yoof!

Zany rather than cool I suppose.
Tell him to go and watch a 2CV race and he might change his mind!

Re: Citroen 2CV for Sale
A 2cv might not be “cool” but at least one can insure it for a half reasonable price, given what they are charging 17 – 18 year olds for a normal car nowadays

my point exactly to Lees Jnr - fell on deaf ears.
he has now bought a 1968 morris minor!

why is a Morris Minor cooler than a 2CV?

I think it's something to do with it being a British built classic, I have the same retro-craving from my youngest who wants a Morris Minor van so that he can carry his bikes in the back.why is a Morris Minor cooler than a 2CV?
At least it's better than a Vauxhall Corsa with blacked out windows.

Tony, Simon, I now understand. What a fool I've been:

clearly the Morris Minor estate is the way forward,
