Mary, the Plus 8 has gone to Melvyn Rutter, so there is hope that it may be raced by someone in the future. Lets hope so, because I enjoyed it immensely.

Andy, I think they all had an ECU swap due to a substandard component on the circuit board, there was also a dealer advisory note on the oil dipstick. I'll bet both have been done, but it's worth asking the question.

The first time you get past 6,000 rpm (red line 7,600) you'll be grining from ear to ear.

For road use I have the rear damper with 0 clicks and the front at about 5 clockwise from fully out. On smoth tracks about 12-15 clicks is a good starting point.
